TypingBenchmark is a browser-based project for measuring typing practice, understanding repeated errors and comparing a person’s own compatible results.
What the project offers
The typing diagnostic measures you under three controlled conditions, names the one costing you the most speed, and builds a drill from that result. It is an English physical-keyboard protocol; the other tests and language pools on the site are practice tools with different input and comparability limits.
How results are explained
The methodology page publishes the protocol, every formula, the evidence threshold each metric must clear, and the known limitations. There is no population ranking or percentile anywhere in the product, and there will not be one until a verified dataset exists to compute it from.
Project status
The project is maintained as a website, not as an accredited test or research institution. No expert credentials, independent certification, user totals or accuracy guarantees are claimed here.

Run the diagnostic, read its methodology, or clear locally saved results at any time from the practice page.
